Hey Everyone,
Most of my posts have been on Make up and Fashion items so I thought that this post should be a little different. For a while now I have wanted to decorate my bedroom so yesterday I was looking at inspiration on the internet. I found these images which gave me a whole load of ideas. Please note that these are not my images.
I loved this bedroom as it does look really vintage which is something I loved. The thing that really caught my attention in the large mirror on the wall. I loved how it covered nearlly the whole wall. I also liked that it look a bit worn around the edges which makes it even more vintage. So I really wanted a mirror for my room similar to the one in the bedroom image and I found this mirror which is what I wanted.
I then found this picture which I think is beautiful. I like how it is all a very similar colour palette however it still looks vintage and would be something you would find in an old fashioned hotel. The item that grabbed my attention in that picture was the stunning silver chest of draws. I managed to find a very similar looking item from Dunelm Mill but I love this one more as it looks more intricate and expensive.
I then found this bedroom and I immediately fell in love with the colour of the wall. Since I want white bedding I really wanted to have a pop of colour on the wall so it didn't look so lifeless. This green colour would love lovely and matches perfectly with little green bird hooks I bought from a shop in London. This paint I found is from Next. I always notice that Next have lovely ranges of paint and wallpaper.
I then came across this bedroom which is very similar to the type of room I had in mind. Since everything else is white or beige the mannequin stands out a lot. I do like the idea of having a mannequin in my bedroom but I didn't like having a plain block colour mannequin I wanted something more unique. That is when I stumbled across this beautiful printed mannequin which would look perfect in my room.
This bedroom then came onto my screen and I loved it. I think using white and cream bedding really makes the rest of the room and the intricate details pop. I also loved how the bedding was white but not dull. They did this by using different textures to add character to the room. I loved the knitted bedding on the bottom so I really wanted to use it in my room. I found this lovely throw from BHS and even though it isn't the same pattern it still creates the look I wanted it to.
This last bedroom was by far my favourite. I loved how all the furniture is white which really makes the pink curtains and wallpaper stand out. I love the colour palette as I think it looks very chic and timeless. I really loved the beaded lamp in the background so that is the item that I wanted to use in my room. I found this lamp from Dunelm Mill and I fell in love with it. It looks like something you would find in a chic hotel in Paris and will really make my room look more vintage.
These were all the inspirations that I found but feel free to comment below any more ideas or inspirations you have for me.
That's all for today I hope you enjoyed todays post. Thanks for reading it.

Most Recent Purchases
Hey Everyone,
Since it is my birthday soon (I feel like I talk about it in every post) I decided to treat myself and buy some new things. So me and my best friend Caitlin went shopping into Manchester. Manchester is my favourite place to go shopping as you can easily get a train and end up in the town centre and there are so many shops to have a look in. I first went into boots and bought most of my products from there.
It may look like I have bought a lot of Revlon Lip Butters but I have never tried them before and I have heard such great things about them that I had to get a lot to test them out! I have tried every single lip butter that I bought and can I just say that they are amazing. I suffer from really dry lips and I always find lipsticks always make my lips look more dry so a lip butter is the perfect thing for my lips. The pigmentation is fantastic and it stays on for such a long time, the colour selection is beautiful (I am quite shocked that I only bought 6 really) and they hydrate my lips without leaving them sticky. Perfect product in my opinion! The benefit perfume that I bought is lovely. I got a set of four benefit perfumes for christmas and this perfume was my favourite so I had to buy it again. The Barry M Nail Paint is amazing, it leaves a very opaque colour after 2 coats which is brilliant, I think it is a really nice colour and compliments my skin tone perfectly. The Neutrogena products will need more testing before a do a review but I am loving them so far my skin has never felt so nice!
I then went into Zara, which is where I bought my last item.
I bought this beautiful two-toned clutch bag. I have wanted a clutch bag for ages as when I go out for meals I always end up having to carry a massive bag which is really annoying. I was in Zara and saw this bag and fell in love with it! I think it creates a pop of colour to most outfits as I tend to wear black and white a lot so this will inject colour into my outfit. I love it!
This was the last thing I bought. I would say it was a successful shopping day and it was nice to spend some time with my Best Friend (even though we talk to each other every day)!
Thank you for reading.

MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation Review
Hi everyone,
I wasn't too sure what to post about today as I wasn't sure what you would like to read. So I decided to do a review on a foundation that is quite popular in the beauty community. A couple of weeks ago I was in Selfridges looking at all the beautiful make up and I had run out of my favourite foundation (Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in 10 beige). Even though I love it I decided to try something different so I went to the MAC stall. I was reading a blog post earlier that morning about MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation and she said it was amazing so I decided to try it.
As soon as I got home I couldn't wait to try it. I really like how the packaging is plastic so there is no danger of it smashing and ruining your make up bag. The only problem I have with the packaging is that the cap is black and it will be easy to see fingerprints and get it mucky really easily. I think it looks very sleek overall and is a good size to carry around. Also it isn't heavy and will not weigh down your make up bag.
I used the Real Techniques Buffing Brush to apply the foundation as this is my favourite way of applying foundation. MAC Studio Sculpt is very easy to apply as it glides on the skin beautifully leaving a lovely glow to the skin. It is gel based and highly pigmentated which means a little goes a long way which is great for the purse. I was matched to the colour NC15 which I would say is a perfect match for my skin. When applied it looks like it just sinks into the skin hiding any imperfections that want to be covered. I would say it is a medium to full coverage but can also be used quite sparingly to give a light coverage. If you were looking for a light coverage I would suggest using fingertips rather than a brush since it helps to give a fuller coverage.
Overall I love this foundation and buy it again. It is a very good foundation and is worth the money.

My Birthday Wishlist
Hi Everyone,
If you read my first post, which included information about me, then you will know that my birthday is quite soon (in 10 days to be exact)! So I have decided that I would include two products that are on my 'birthday wishlist'.
My first product is 'The Happening' palette from Nars. This product is beautiful and is perfect for the girls who love a netural tone eye but want to spice it up a bit. The palette contains 4 stunning eyeshadows which are 'Night Star', 'Gstaad', 'Kuala Lumpur' and 'Coconut Grove'. Night star is a pretty beige eyeshadow with flecks of golden glitter this shade would be perfect as a highlight. Gstaad is a limited edition eyeshadow which is exclusive to this palette, it is a lovely taupe colour. Kuala Lumpur is a fabulous deep purple berry colour which would look gorgeous as a colour eyeliner. Coconut Grove is a Matte dark brown which is a staple in a beautiful smokey eye. There is also 'Laguna' bronzer and 'Orgasm' blush in this palette. Laguna is a well known bronzer from Nars, it's matte brown colour allows this to suit many skin tones. Orgasm is also a well known blusher from Nars it is a pretty coral colour with slight shimmer and gives a beautiful glow to the face. The happening palette may be expensive at £45.00 but it is a lovely indulgent birthday treat!
Another item on my wishlist is this beautiful pair of light pink ballerina shoes. I have always loved to wear brouges as I feel as though they matched with any outfit. However I have recently noticed that my brouges have become a bit rough around the edges so I thought it was a good time to buy a new pair of shoes. Me and my mum was looking on Zara's website and I was determined to buy some new brouges but then these beautiful shoes caught my attention and I imediately fell in love with them. I love how they look very chic and elegent at first glance and then when you pay a bit more attention you can see that there are gold studs around the heel which give them a more fashionable look. I think these shoes are gorgeous and I can see myself wearing these with my outfits. They are from Zara and cost £22.99 which in my eyes is a bargin for such a stunning pair of shoes.
These are just a few items on My Birthday Wishlist I obviously have a lot more! If you would like me to include more products, want me to do a certain post or ask me any questions in general feel free to leave any comments below I will answer them!

Hey Everyone and welcome to my blog!
I thought in this post that I would just talk a bit about myself so that you can all get to know me, obviously nothing too deep that would scare you all just a little bit of information about me!
Well, first of all my name is Olivia (just incase you haven't read the 'about me' section yet) I am 13 years old. My birthday is on the 12th April, which is 11 days away if you read this on the day I post it. My hobbies are dancing, writing and reading blogs and watching YouTube videos. I am in year 9 at high school and will be starting doing GCSEs next year (which is something I am not looking foward to). I hope to become a clinical psychologist when I am older as I would love to help people who really need and want help.
The reason I am starting to write a blog is that for ages I have been reading blogs and watching YouTube videos and for ages I have wanted to start a blog and YouTube channel. I lack a lot of confidence because of a number of reasons so I am not fully ready to start a YouTube channel (yet!) but I am ready to start a blog. My blogs are mainly going to be focused around beauty, fashion, cooking since they are big passions of mine, and life in general. Hopefully you all enjoy reading this blog and I hope that throughout the years I am writing this blog if I can inspire just one person then I will have done my job!
