Everyday Make-Up Routine

Hey everyone

Today I am going to share with you all my everyday make-up look that I have been doing over the past two weeks. My everyday make-up changes quite regularly depending on what I am doing, how long I am wearing the make up for and what I am wearing. But recently my make-up look has stayed the same as it is quick to do and looks quite natural.

The make-up look mainly is natural eyeshadow, black eyeliner, pale pink lips and pink cheeks. I love this look as it doesn't look like loads of effort was needed it just looks very natural.

Hey Everyone

Today I am going to be doing something a little different which is a nail tutorial. You will need scissors, tape, top coat, white nail polish, black nail polish and red nail polish. Hope you enjoy.

1. Paint your nails completely black
2. Then cut a small piece of tape and place a corner half way down the nail
3. Paint 2 coats of red nail polish
4. Remove the tape
5. Do this to two fingers
6. Cut out another piece of tape a cut a small V shape into it
7. Place it on top of the black and paint white nail polish onto the uncovered nail.
8. Apply a top coat

I hope you enjoyed this little nail tutorial. Comment down below if you would want me to do more.

March Favourites

Hey Everyone,

So on Sunday I didn't manage to post a blog as I had been busy for the entire week and had got hardly any rest so I was exhausted. I came home from dance on Sunday and all I did was sleep as I felt like death. However, now I am feeling so much more energised and ready to do anything. But now I feel really guilty for not managing to post a blog post that I have decided to write 2 in 1 day to make up for it!

So todays second post is going to be about my March Favourites. I cannot believe how fast March has come and gone it only felt like yesterday that I was celebrating my dad's birthday (which is the 23rd Feburary) and now I am writing a post about my March Favourites on the 8th April. How time flies. Anyway we need to get into the products or else this will be a very long post as I have loads of new products and fun things to share with all of you!
My first beauty favourite is the 17 Wild Curls Mascara. I was given this mascara as a Christmas present along with some more 17 goodies however I never really had chance to try it out as I was still using up my YSL mascara. Then in Feburary I had used up the very last drop of my YSL mascara and really couldn't bring  myself to pay for another one. That was when I remebered about this mascara and I adore it now! It never makes my eyelashes look clumpy and it holds a curl for a really long time. It lengthens my eyelashes a lot and never makes my eyes feel dry or flakey. Safe to Say that I won't be buying the expensive YSL mascara for a while.

My nail polish favourite for this month is Mint Green by Barry M. This is such a beautiful spring colour. I have recently had shellac on my nails for the past two weeks so my nails look amazing and feel so strong that I thought I should wear a bold bright colour to show them off. This colour is opaque after 2 coats and suprisingly doesn't chip for ages. I wore the colour for about 5 days before it started to chip which is quite long for a cheap nail polish. Barry M Nail Paint have such a wide range of colours that I would recommened anyone who wants a really nice cheap nail polish to go and look at Barry M.

My second beauty favourite is the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Eyeshadow Quad. My mum was given the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Gift Set for Christmas and I couldn't help but sneak a peak at the beautiful make up. That was when I came across this beautiful eyeshadow quad hidden away at the bottom of the bag and I completely fell in love with it. My mum doesn't like wearing powder eyeshadows as she has very dry eyes and it irritates her eyelids so she gave the quad to me. Since then I have been using this everyday for a very natural everyday look and also as a smokey eye for the evening. The eyeshadows are highly pigmented and don't feel chalky at all. They are all beautiful colours and are perfect for any look you may have.

My third beauty favourite is MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation in NC15. If you read my previous post when I reviewed it you will know that I adore it. It matches perfectly with my skin tone so there are never any lines left around my face. When applied it looks as though it melts into the skin and covers any imperfections you may want to conceal. Even though this product is quite expensive it is completely worth the money as are all of the MAC foundations. Also the lady who helped my pick out my colour and the type of foundation was so helpful, so understood exactly what I wanted my foundation to be like and what I wanted my skin to look like afterwards. I will certainly be going back to MAC to purchase any other make up that I want.

My final beauty favourite is the Real Techniques Buffing Brush. This came with the Core Collection set from Real Techniques which I did a review on a couple of posts ago. I use this brush for my foundation and it works beautifully. Even though on the website it said that it is good for using it to apply powder and mineral foundations I say it is just as good for liquid foundation. To use this brush I add the foundation into the centre of the brush so that the edges around the foundation are clean so they just buff the product into the skin. The handle of the brush is nice and heavy so you can easily hold it. I couldn't imagine using any other brush to apply my foundation with.

My skincare favourite this month is the Neutrogena Multi-Defence Daily Moisturiser for Dry/Sensitive Skin. This can be used as a morning and night moisturiser as it is light enough to put under make up but hydrating enough for a night moisturiser. To apply this moisturiser I used the Real Techniques Pointed Foundation Brush as it is small enough to get into the small creases of the face. It doesn't clog up my pores so you can apply make up over the top of it. It doesn't leave my skin feeling greasey or leaving a film over my face so it leaves you feeling refreshed and hydrated.

My clothes favourite this month is the Flecked Oversized T-shirt in Aubergine for TopShop. I love this top as it can be paired with a leather jacket, black thick leggings and brouges for a casual everday look and then high waisted skinny jeans, wedges, statement necklace and clutch bag for an evening look. It cost £18.00 and I have found myself pairing it with everything in my wardrobe. It comes in a wide variety of colours from grey to green and is a classic cut. It has tight elbow length sleves and the rest of it is baggy. I really love this style of tops and will certainly be going back to TopShop to buy some more.

My random favourite of the month is this Kath Kidston Retro Flowers Mug. This was given to me as a Christmas present and I thought it was really cute. It doesn't weigh a lot and is a nice size. I am not really sure what else to say about it really it is just a random favourite. It is a coincidence when I was given this because this is my favourite print from Kath Kidston as it looks retro which is something that I love in new products.

My music favourite this month is the album Speak Now by Taylor Swift. I know that is isn't a really recent album and it isn't in the charts on England but I really do like Taylor Swift's songs. I do think that some of her songs are a bit cheesy however some of them are beautiful and really explain what I am feeling when I am upset. Since I am a dancer I do have to include a bit of dancing somewhere into this post, some of these songs are perfect to dance to. I know that people either love her or hate her but I do think she is really talented when it comes to writing songs. My favourite songs on the album are Back To December and Speak Now. These songs are just lovely songs to listen to and I probably know them off by heart since I listen to them so much.

My food favourite of the month is Cinnamon Pretzels from Mr Pretzels. I am not sure wether this is a UK thing or it is only around where I live but I have been loving Mr Pretzel's Cinnamon Pretzels. I recently went down to leeds and went shopping with my friend to the White Rose and there is a stall that sells them and I must of had about 3 when we went they are so addicting and lovely. We had ours when they had just been cooked so they were still warm which made it taste even nicer. They are made fresh daily so you know you are getting a good product the only problem is that the warm Cinnamon Sugar gets everywhere!

My drink favourite of the month is the Costa Coffee Toffee Creamy Cooler. I have had the vanilla cooler before and the chocolate cooler before but I have never of thought to try the toffee one. The only reason I decided to try them was because I really wanted a Caramel Frappaccino from Starbucks but there wasn't one around so we dropped of at Costas instead. I thought that caramel was similar to toffee so I tried the Toffee Creamy Cooler and it is probably the nicest drink I have ever had. It tastes so much better than the Caramel Frappaccino as it is more creamier and stronger flavour. If I could have one of these everyday I would but I don't think it would be too good for my body.
I hope you enjoyed my March Favourites!

Real Techniques Core Collection Review

Hey Everyone,

Today I am going to review the Real Techniques Core Collection Review.

The brushes are designed by Samantha Chapman who is a YouTube star and a professional make up artist. These brushes are crazily popular everywhere but especially in the beauty community from YouTube and Bloggers. So I decided to jump onto the band wagon (I think that is the saying) and buy the set myself. In the set there includes Buffing Brush, Detailer Brush, Contour Brush and Pointed Foundation Brush. I bought my set from Boots and the cost of the set was £21.99 which for a set of 4 well designed brushes was amazing! I am now going to review each brush seperately.

The first brush is the Pointed Foundation Brush. This tip for this brush is 'Use with liquid foundation to build custom coverage'. The shape of this brush is perfect as it can get into all the small details on your face as it is smaller than a normal foundation brush. I haven't used this as a foundation brush as I love using the Buffing Brush so I have been using this to apply mosituriser on in the morning and it is great.

The next brush is the Detailer Brush. The description of this brush is 'precision cut to effortlessly conceal problem areas; or, use with lipstick for long-lasting shape and definition'. Now I haven't used this to apply lipstick with as I use my Body Shop Concealer Brush. But I use it to apply concealer with and I love it! It is very small so it can easily fit under your eye and into the creases to give you a flawless look.

The next brush is the Contour Brush. This is described as 'delicately applies highlighter to contour or create sheer, soft-focus finish'. I completely agree with this description, this is the only brush I ever use for my cheeks. It fits perfectly into the hallows of my face to give me a more defined look. It applys just the right amount of highlighter to my cheeks to give me a soft glow and it glides onto my skin when applying cream blush. It can only be described as the perfect cheek brush.

The last brush in the set is the Buffing Brush. The tip that is given for this brush is 'ideal for full coverage application of powder and mineral foundation'. Now I don't use powder foundations as I have dry skin so it doesn't suit my skin but I have been using this brush with liquid foundations and it works a treat. It applys just the right amount of foundation buffs away any streaks that are on my face. I have also used this as a powder brush on other people and is so easy to use and glides onto the skin.

In conclusion, these brushes are the best brushes I have ever used and would recommened them to anyone. They are such a bargain aswell a MUST-BUY!

My Favourite Lush Products

Hi Everyone,

Today I am going to tell you about my favourite lush products and do a mini review on each of them. I have bought a lot of lush products over the years and I have also been given a lot of their products as presents so I have tried a lot of them. I have also tired things for limited edition collections such as christmas, valentines and easter. I am not going to include any of those products apart from the easter collection as you can still buy some products from the lush website.

Bath Bombs

The first bath bomb that is one of my favourites is Dragon's Egg Bath Bomb. This bath bomb is £3.20 and is completely worth the money. It has confetti within the bath bomb which is meant to represent the scales of the dragon. It has slight shimmer in it but it doesn't end up all over you are your bath tub. It doesn't stain the edge the bath tub which is something I was curious about. It turns the water a golden orange colour and creates a milky element to your bath which is absolute bliss.

This is the last of my favourite bath bombs. This is the Honey Bee Bath Bomb which costs £3.15. This one has the same scent as the famous 'Honey I Washed The Kids' soap which is also a personal favourite of mine. It turns you bath water into a golden yellow colour which represents honey. It also creates small bubbles and leaves your skin feeling soft.

Soap

The only soap I have to write about is the Honey I Washed The Kids soap. It costs a cheap £3.40 for 100g which goes a long way. My tip for soap from Lush in general is to cut it into small chunks as the steam and heat from the bath melts it away slightly. This smells just like honey with a hint of orange. There is a dark brown bit on the top which represents honeycomb and I find it is good to use as an exfoliater.

Bubble Bars

My favourite bubble bar is The Comforter it costs £4.25 and lasts a life time. It is a huge bar which has been developed so that it is creates loads of bubbles just like bubble bath but without the harmful chemicals and packaging. This smells just like blackcurrents and berries which is a heavenly scent that lasts on the skin for ages. I can easily get 6 pieces out of 1 bar by cutting it up I don't recommened using 1 whole bar in a bath.

Massage Bars

My favourite massage bar is Each Peach (And Twos A Pair) Massage Bar it costs £5.50. Massage bars melt slowly to produce oils which are then meant to be massaged into the skin. You don't have to rub the bar to make it melt as it simply melts at body temperature. This is a great thing to use as soon as you have got out of the bath as it leaves your skin feeling lovely and soft for days.

Lip Scrub

This is my all-time favourite lip scrub which is Bubblegum Lip Scrub it costs £5.25 and is a life saver. I have very dry lips and I find that vasiline doesn't hydrate them and make them look nice. Now I am using a lip scrub and it has made them look amazing. But you haven't heard the best thing about the lipscrub which is it is completely ediable. All you have to do is apply it to the lips, rub it in then lick it off simple.

Gifts

My favourite gift is Bunty Yellow and it costs £13.25. It comes with 4 different products which are mini Comforter, Space Girl, Think Pink and Creamy Candy. This gift is perfect for a girly pamper session. I was given this gift from a friend and I completely fell in love with it! It is everything a girl needs.

Easter

The only Easter product that is one of my favourites is Easter Egg Hunt and it costs £3.40 for 100g slice. Not only is this a colourful soap it also smells amazing! The smell can only be described as raspberries and fresh fruit. This leaves your skin feeling wonderful and soft. To add an even better point, it the scent lingers for absolutely ever!

Thank you for Reading and comment below your favourite Lush Product
